Christopher Rhines is a Richmond, Virginia-area pianist, keyboardist, and composer whose instrumental music blends contemporary jazz with influences from 80s pop, funk, soul, and progressive rock.
A lifelong musician who began playing piano in grade school, Christopher builds his songs around memorable melodies, rich keyboard textures, and strong rhythmic grooves. While jazz provides the foundation, his music often ventures beyond traditional genre boundaries, drawing inspiration from artists and styles that span decades.
Every song is written, performed, recorded, and produced by Christopher, allowing him to shape each arrangement from the ground up. The result is a collection of instrumental music that is melodic, accessible, and designed to connect with listeners whether they're paying close attention or simply enjoying the soundtrack to their day.
